Challenging star Darshan latest ‘Porkhi’ (the fourth in the Indian languages) made in Rs.7 crore by Dattatreya Bache Gowda has to challenge in the box office with good collection.

‘Porkhi’ slated for release on January 14 Pongal festival is releasing on 29th of January in a big style. The Kannada version is hitting after super hit of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language films of the same subject. Director MD Sridhar has taken extra care to treat the fans of Darshan for this Datta Films. V Harikrishna music has already created a rage and one of the songs ‘Sakkathagavle Nanne Nodthale…..has become a huge hit. Krishnakumar is the cameraman. BA Madhu has penned the punching dialogues for this box office hero film.

Also in the cast is the debutant Paranitha with supporting cast of Avinash, Ashiash Vidyarthi, Shobaraj, Manoj, Vinayakram Kalagaru, Dhatma, Sangeetha Shetty, Chitra Shenoy, Sadhu Kokila, Sharan and others.
